Govt. to allow areca net re-exports with35% value addition

The Government to give permission for areca nut to re-exports with 35 percent value added. Some engaged in this fraud by importing areca nuts from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar to country and then mixed with Sri Lankan areca nuts reexport them. They use fake certification for this. Committee is now place to study this and submit report with recommendations.
